This would, of course, cause some problems for the "King of Cable" tourney, unless Jake has worked and lost his match against Dustin Rhodes last night. - The WWF has a Saturday Night's Main Event on FOX on 11/14/92. Taped matches are scheduled to include: - Money Inc. vs Ultimate Maniacs for the WWF Tag Titles (Money Inc. COR; DiBiase, I.R.S., Razor Ramon, Curt Hennig & Ric Flair attack Maniacs post-match) - Bret Hart vs. Papa Shango for the WWF Title (Hart retains) - Davey Boy Smith vs. Shawn Michaels for the IC Title (Michaels wins title) The show will apparently air at 6pm on Sunday in my area. - The WWF has it's annual Survivor Series PPV from Richfield, OH, on 11/25/92. Matches will include: - Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWF Title - Randy Savage & Ultimate Warrior vs. Ric Flair & Razor Ramon with trouble-shooting referee Sgt. Slaughter (in trouble because of Ric Flair's injury) - Big Boss Man vs. Nailz in a nightstick match - Kamala vs. The Undertaker in a casket match (in trouble because of Undertaker's injuries) - Money Inc. & Beverly Brothers vs. Natural Disasters & Nasty Boys - Tatanka vs. Rick Martel - Davey Boy Smith vs. Da Mountie *- Headshrinkers vs. High Energy Davey Boy Smith vs. Da Mountie may be in jeopardy since Da Mountie quit the WWF. Ric Flair and the Undertaker will be out until the PPV, but will "definitely" work the show. Brian Nobbs may be out for the PPV. After the show, as already posted, Big Boss Man & Randy Savage will be taking time (months) off. I guess that means that Nailz will win the nightstick match and Savage will get "injured" in the main event tag match. Nailz will be programmed with UW after the PPV, Ramon will be programmed with Undertaker, Money Inc. will be programmed with Nasty Boys (with Lou Albano as manager?), and Shawn Michaels will be programmed with Marty Janetty, with Sherri Martel apparently jumping to the new boy toy. - WCW has a Clash of Champions live on WTBS on 11/18/92 at 8:05 EST. The replay will take place the next night at 10:05 EST. Announced match-ups include: - Ron Simmons & Robbie Walker vs. Tony Atlas & Barbarian & Cactus Jack in a "Ghetto Odds" match - Paul E. Dangerously vs. Madusa, presumably in a gimmick match where Paul has one arm tied behind his back (will they humiliate Paul so much that he quits? They seem to hope so) - King of Cable tourney semi-final match: Sting vs. Rick Rude - Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham vs. Ricky Steamboat & Shane Douglas for the WCW & NWA Tag Titles - Brian Pillman vs. Brad Armstrong - Kensuke Sasaki & Erik Watts vs. Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton in a bounty match (bounty is apparently on Erik) - Johnny B. Badd vs. Scotty Flamingo in a three round boxing match - First two teams in Starrcade will be announced I think that Rick Rude will squeak out a heelish win from Sting early in the show. Later, Madusa will effectively turn face and somehow Rude will get involved and also turn face. That way, when Van Vader rumbles to the finals of the "King of Cable" tourney to face Rude, it'll be heel vs. face, with Vader saying he has a legitimate claim to the US Title, having successfully defended it for Rude at Havoc. Of course, this means that WCW loses one of it's two great wrestling heels (Rude & Vader being the two). To fill the heel void left by Rude, after Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes lose the tag titles, Barry will turn heel. Maybe they can do some sort of creative angle where Barry honestly thinks that Dustin screwed up, but we all know that it was Barry's fault. Herb...
