Length: Three Hours+. Location: Denver, Colorado. HOUR ONE Hosted By: Tony Schiavone and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. - LASH LEROUX vs. JUVENTUD GUERRERA No winner, as Sid comes out and interrupts the match. He says he will do this all night until Hulk Hogan comes out to answer his challenge. - STEVEN REGAL (w/ David Taylor) vs. SCOTTY RIGGS No winner, as Sid comes out and interrupts the match. - ERNEST MILLER (w/ Sonny Onoo) vs. "MEAN" MIKE ENOS Miller gets the win in under four minutes, as predicted by the Cat. - Sid is shown beating up La Parka and Silver King in the back. - REY MYSTERIO, JR. vs. LENNY LANE (w/ Lodi) No winner, as Sid comes out and interrupts the match. Sting comes out for the save. Hulk Hogan then comes out, accepts Sid's challenge, and offers Sting a shot at the title next week. HOUR TWO Hosted By: Tony Schiavone and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. - INSANE CLOWN POSSE (w/ El Vampiro) vs. PUBLIC ENEMY Violent J pins Johnny Grunge after Grunge is knocked out by Vampiro. - "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Harlem Heat. - Members of the NWO Black & White squabble over who gets to wrestle against Harlem Heat tonight. Scott Norton, Horace and Vincent all end up turning against Brian Adams, dumping him from the group. - "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Kidman. Talk about Kimberly and the Nitro Girls PPV brings Diamond Dallas Page to the ring. KIDMAN vs. DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE Kidman scores the upset win with a surprise roll-up. DDP beats up Kidman and the ref after the match, prompting Kimberly to come out and stop him. - A Disco Inferno/Chris Benoit verbal confrontation leads to ... DISCO INFERNO vs. CHRIS BENOIT Benoit with the headbutt off the top. - GOLDBERG vs. BARRY WINDHAM (w/ the West Texas Rednecks) Goldberg wins. HOUR THREE Hosted By: Tony Schiavone and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. - HARLEM HEAT vs. SCOTT NORTON/HORACE (w/ Vincent) Brian Adams runs in and singlehandedly beats up the entire NWO. Booker T. then hits Horace with a missile drop-kick, and Stevie Ray covers for the pin. Adams is shown leaving the building in a limousine with a "KISS" license plate. - RICK STEINER vs. BRIAN KNOBBS (w/ Jimmy Hart) Steiner with the bulldog off the top. - Clip is shown of the Rodman/Savage match at Road Wild. - BAM BAM BIGELOW vs. SATURN Shane Douglas counters interference by Kanyon, allowing Saturn to hit the Death Valley Driver and score the win. - SID vs. HULK HOGAN Rick Steiner runs in to prevent a Hogan win, causing a DQ. Sting comes out to help Hogan. - This Thursday: Nothing announced. - Next week: Hulk Hogan vs. Sting. KISS performs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- WWF RAW is WAR: Live/Taped: Taped 8/10. Length: Two Hours+. Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin. WWF RAW Hosted By: Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. - Triple H tries, and fails, to talk Chyna into giving him the shot against Steve Austin at SummerSlam. - Chris Jericho is backstage, trying to find the stage. - ROAD DOGG vs. AL SNOW The Big Bossman comes out and hits both men with his nightstick. Road Dogg falls on top of Snow and gets the pin. - Another look at Jericho. - The Undertaker and Big Show come out to deliver comments. Undertaker is interrupted by the "Y2J" countdown clock. Jericho says he's there to save us fans from another boring show. - Howard Finkel agrees with the "Y2J" philosophy. - TRIPLE H vs. CHYNA Mankind comes out and knocks out triple H with a steel chair, giving Chyna the chance to score the pin. Mankind then asks Chyna for a shot at her #1 contender status. She turns him down. Commissioner Shawn Michaels then comes out and grants Mankind's request, scheduling the match for later in the show. - TEST vs. STEVE BLACKMAN Shane McMahon interferes in the match, giving Test the win via DQ. Ken Shamrock runs in, but he and Test are both left laying, victims of a kendo stick beating. - Michael Cole gets comments from Steve Austin. WWF WAR ZONE Hosted By: Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. - KANE/X-PAC vs. THE ACOLYTES Kane chokeslams Bradshaw for the win. - Jim Ross announces the British Bulldog's imminent return to the WWF. - "Hardcore" Holly introduces his cousin, "Crash" Holly. The two begin fighting one another. - Michael Cole gets comments from Mankind. - MANKIND vs. CHYNA Mankind gets the win with the Mandible Claw. Triple H then attacks Mankind. Shane McMahon comes out and tells Mankind he'll have to put up his newly-earned #1 contender status against Triple H. After Shane names himself special referee, Commissioner Michaels inserts himself into the match as the second referee. - The Holly cousins are fighting outside on top of a semi trailer. - Shane McMahon gives Triple H a peptalk. - "Mr. Ass" Billy Gunn announces that he had an allergic reaction to something put on his ass last week. The Rock comes out and reveals that he was the one behind the masseuse and the poison ivy. Rock and Gunn brawl in the ring, with Gunn laying out the Rock with one of Steve Blackman's kendo sticks (left behind at ringside). - MANKIND vs. TRIPLE H A slam onto a chair leaves Mankind and Triple H both laid out, with an arm draped across each other. Shawn Michaels counts three in favor of Mankind, as Shane McMahon counts the pinfall for Triple H. Both are announced as the winner, #1 contender, and the two will go on to face Steve Austin in a "Triple Threat Match" at SummerSlam. - Next week: Nothing announced. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Bottom Line: SummerSlam card: * Steve Austin vs. Triple H vs. Mankind.
