[RESULTS/OPINION]Monday Night RAW/Monday Nitro (3/4) Bad news gang: Due to a VCR error, I missed RAW. I did see bits and pieces of it, though, at a friend's place. I'll put down what I was able to catch. If someone out there did tape it, and is interested in trading a copy of it, E-Mail me at the address as the end of this recap. (Please?) Monday Night RAW: Taped 2/19. - SHAWN MICHAELS vs. 1-2-3 KID (w/ Ted DiBiase) In what was a pretty good match (from the few minutes I saw) Shawn won... somehow or other. Superkick, I assume. Bret Hart watched the match from the back on a monitor and added commentary. - It's official: The Ultimate Warrior is back at WrestleMania. They will announce next week who his opponent is. The Warrior is shown pinning (quote) "the self proclaimed 'Immortal' Hulk Hogan" (unquote) and the Macho Man. Zoiks! - Goldust was featured in a short movie-like skit parodying "Piper's Pit." I didn't see much of this, as my friend can't stand Goldust. - A Mankind promo was shown at some point. - JUSTIN "HAWK" BRADSHAW (w/ Uncle Zebekiah) vs. HAKUSHI McMahon made some kind of reference to Stan Hansen when talking about Bradshaw. Bradshaw won (but I missed his finisher.) He "branded" Hakushi after the match. During the match, they had Piper on the phone in a "live" interview. Piper says he'll talk about Goldust next week on RAW. Piper compares Goldust to Adrian Adonis: How they both use(d) mind games. - Seems to me something happened about this point... but I'll be damned if I can remember what. Geez, I'm pissed! I'm never leaving my home on a Monday again! (Uh huh.) - BRET HART vs. HUNTER HEARST HELMSLY (w/ ... some lady) HHH has some model named Hart (Heart?) which elicits all kinds of Hart jokes from Lawler. Another pretty good match in which I missed the finish. I know Hart won, but that's about all. Shawn Michaels sat down at ringside to watch the match, but he didn't get involved (I think.) - Yet another Billionaire Ted bit. This time he's on a Trivia Game Show. The gist was that the announcer would ask "who said this (quote)" and Ted would get them all wrong, while a vacuous bimbo opponent got them all right. Supposedly, they were all actual Ted Turner quotes. The Nacho Man is show (with his arm wrapped up) while the Huckster is off in an arena somewhere with his hands handcuffed around a turnbuckle. A girl knocks the Nacho Man out with a shoe. After Ted loses, he storms off the set and pulls the plug on the show. - Next week's main event: Undertaker & Yokozuna vs. British Bulldog & Owen Hart. Live. Comments: A really decent show, one I was actually looking forward to sitting down and watching again. Unless I can work out a deal with someone out there, that idea is shot. This is the first RAW in a year I've missed taping and I'm not too happy about it. Monday Nitro: Wasn't on. Joy. Bottom line: I'm a doofus. This week's winner: Satan... for messing up my VCR.
