Terry Funk is already running around saying that he has the job, which leads everybody to conclude that he doesn't have the job. - As regulars of the newsgroup know, I was in Edmonton for several months at the end of last year. I've made arrangements to trade for the WCW PPVs I missed while there and figured I could rent and watch the WWF Survivor Series (WCW PPVs don't make it on video here). I finally found the time this past week to hit the video store and rent the tape. I was pretty to surprised to find that every "big" video store I popped into did not bother to buy the tape. My only conclusion is that rental rates of the wrestling videos must have dropped to an all-time low in parallel with buy rates. So, people aren't getting turned off by the expensive prospect of ordering PPVs, they are getting turned off of the wrestling itself. - The WWF has Royal Rumble on this Saturday, 01/22/94, in Providence.
