{ I know I posted that there wouldn't be a TidBits today, but I figured
  I'd post a small one after all.  I really haven't had any contact with
  things wrestling-related in the past week, but thought this would serve
  as a good place to mention that I won't be running the TidBits
  mailing list while I'm here.  Things are brutally different from
  the extremely well-equipped UofWaterloo and I just can't deal with
  what I'm sure will be a lot of subscription requests.  I will resume
  the mailing list in 1994.  Now, on to the scant news.               }

 - The Toronto Star reports that Earthquake John Tenta & King Kong
   Bundy will return to the WWF for matches with Yokozuna.  This has
   to be a sarcastic joke.

 - Some people have asked what a "*" next to a match in PPV line-ups
   means.  It means that that match has changed or been added since my
   last post.

 - WCW has the Fall Brawl PPV on 09/19/93 at 7:00pm EST from Houston.
   Tentative matches include:
     - Ric Flair vs. Rick Rude for the NWA Title
     - Paul Roma & Arn Anderson vs. Nasty Boys for the tag titles
     - Sid Vicious & Van Vader & Harlem Heat
        vs. Dustin Rhodes & Davey Boy Smith & Sting & Shockmaster
        in a Wargames match
     - Cactus Jack vs. Yoshi Kwan

 - UWFi from Japan will run a shoot-style PPV which will air in North
   America on 10/05/93.

 - WCW has Halloween Havoc on PPV on 10/24/93 (tentative date).  Tentative
   line-up includes:
     - Big Van Vader vs. Cactus Jack in a "Spin the Wheel, Make The Deal"
        match
     - Nasty Boys vs. Ric Flair & Paul Roma for the Tag Titles
     - Sting vs. Sid Vicious

 - The WWF returns to Maple Leaf Gardens on 10/31/93.  The line-up
   includes:
     - Lex Luger vs. Ludvig Borga
     - Bret Hart vs. Jerry Lawler in a cage match
     - Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon
     - Curt Hennig vs. Diesel
     - Marty Jannetty vs. IRS
     - Smoking Gunns vs. Quebeckers
   I think it's interesting that the Steiners aren't on the show and
   that the reported Michaels vs. 1-2-3 Kid marriage seems dead.

 - WCW has the Lethal Lottery on PPV on 11/21/93 and Starrcade just after
   Christmas.

 - The WWF has Survivor Series on PPV on 11/25/93 in Boston.  Tentative
   line-up includes:
     - Team USA: Lex Luger & Steiners & ? (Jim Duggan?)
        vs. Team Foreign Scum: Ludvig Borga & Yokozuna & ? (Nikolai Volkoff?)

 - WCW will supposedly run a Clash live from Wembley Stadium in London,
   England, on 11/25/93 starting at 8:00pm London time.  This means that
   the show will air here on WTBS at 3:00 pm on Thanksgiving.

 - Videos: On Friay afternoon last week, after posting that some
   expected new tapes had not arrived, the new tapes did show up!
   So before leaving for Edmonton I did get a chance to see the Bull
   Nakano vs. Devil Masami match from 04/18/93.  It was super and
   easily deserves consideration for "Match of The Year."  Of
   the other new stuff that I watched, my dad particularly liked
   a JWP tag match with the four tiny girls Cutie Suzuki & Plum Mariko
   vs. Boirshoi Kid & Mayumi Ozaki (also from 04/18/93, I think,
   although it might have been from 04/20/93).  The match was
   really entertaining and well worked.  Other things I got in
   the mail and left with my parents to watch were WrestleMarinpiad I
   from 05/89 and the commercial tapes of Dream Slam II.
