Jack Tunney will validate Hogan's title victory on the weekend, no doubt playing up the controversy so that those who missed the show will order the replay after Monday Night Raw on this coming Monday. The guys are on a European tour for the next month. Then we've got the "King of the Ring" PPV on 06/10/93 (if memory serves). Hogan has agreed to do a run at the house shows, no doubt to hype his movie which opens in June, so, combining that with the European gig, the WWF should be able to counter the usual post-WrestleMania decline in attendance and revenue. - Post-WrestleMania new arrivals in the WWF: Ron & Don Harris (the Bruise Brothers), Mike Shaw (aka Norman, Makhan Singh), Brian Clark (the Night Stalker, supposedly getting a vampire gimmick), Long Riders. Leaving: Big Boss Man, Repo Man. Speaking of Repo, today's Toronto Star says that he was the second Doink. - From the Observer, here are some more details on the Erik Watts & Arn Anderson team angle. Arn & Bobby Eaton get into an argument, with Arn accusing Bobby of running off on him when he (Arn) got injured. It ends up with Bobby, Tex & Shanghi beating up Arn and Erik making the save. Anderson & Watts then teamed to beat Eaton & Shanghi. It sounds like it go either way and be a one-time deal or a (belch!) new team. - WCW Slamboree takes place on PPV on 05/23/93. Advertised as the night of the legends of wrestling, this is the PPV that will unveil WCW's Hall of Fame. Slated to appear: Ivan Koloff, Verne Gagne, Greg Gagne, Johnny Valentine, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, Mike Graham, Ole Anderson, Moolah, Blackjack Mulligan, Wahoo McDaniel, Red Bastien, Mr. Wrestling II, Dory Funk Jr., Don Muraco, Lou Thesz, Harley Race, John Tolos, Dick Murdoch, Ox Baker, Jimmy Snuka, Jim Brunzell, Thunderbolt Patterson, Da Crusher, Baron von Raschke, Tully Blanchard, Nick Bockwinkel, The Sheik, The Assassin #1, Joe Blanchard. There will be an old-timers match of some sort. There will also be footage shown from the recent 26th annual Cauliflower Alley old-timers banquet. Flair has hinted in recent interviews that the Four Horsemen will be re-formed. Hopefully, they don't just mean that that he, Arn, Ole, and Tully will stand together for a photo-op at this PPV. I would guess that we might see Pillman & Austin vs. Scorpio & Bagwell on the show, which might be reason enough to order it. After the Scorpio & Bagwell challenge is turned back, rumour has the champs feuding with Flair & Anderson. It looks like they are really going to drag out Flair becoming a singles wrestler. - WCW has a Clash of Champions scheduled for 06/15/93. - WCW has this year's Beach Blast PPV on 07/11/93 from Biloxi, MS. - E-mail TidBits: If your site has a slow feed or you don't read news frequently enough and you want to get this posting as e-mail every week, send me e-mail saying so. - Videos: The video discussion continues.
