Reports have him out for the rest of the year. The Steiners' contracts run out at the end of the year and Bill Watts is offering them the standard $1000 a night, but they are having trouble agreeing on how many dates should be guaranteed. - WCW has it's annual Halloween Havoc PPV on October 25, 1992. Tentative line-up includes: - Jake Roberts vs. Sting in a "Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal" match, where Sting will apparently spin a gimmicked wheel to determine which type of match takes place. Matches on the wheel in the "Spin The Wheel Saloon" sketch were (in alphabetical order): - Barbed Wire - Cage - Coal Miner's Glove - Dog Collar Match - First Blood - I Quit - Lumberjack Match - Prince of Darkness - Russian Chain Match - Spinner Choice - Texas Bull Rope - Texas Death Match - Rick Rude vs. Masa Chono for the NWA Heavyweight Title - Ron Simmons vs. Barbarian for the WCW Heavyweight Title The show will be announced by Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura, with Tony Schiavone & Bruno Sammartino hosting (i.e. Bruno gets Eric Bischoff's regular spot). They've also announced - Steiners vs. Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes - Ricky Steamboat TV Title defence (vs. Steve Austin tentatively) but it doesn't seem like either of these matches can possibly take place (since Rick Steiner is out, and Steamboat has lost the TV Title, assuming they air the match). - The WWF has it's annual Survivor Series PPV from Richfield, PA, on US Thanksgiving weekend. Matches will include: - Randy Savage & Ultimate Warrior vs. Ric Flair & Razor Ramon with trouble-shooting referee Sgt. Slaughter - Big Boss Man vs. Nailz in a nightstick match *- Kamala vs. The Undertaker in a casket match - The following videos all arrived in the mail to me this past week: 042*- AJW, UWA - AJW: Matches from 08/19/90 - AJW, UWA: WrestleMarinpiad I, 11/14/90 043*- NJ - Tiger Mask matches from 1981-1983 044*- EMLL, NJ - NJ: Matches from 1990 - El Satanico vs. El Dandy from Mexico, 12/15/90 045*- AJ, NJ - Matches from 07/90 and 09/90 046*- AJ, NJ - Matches from 09/90-10/90 047*- AJ, NJ - Matches from 04/91 048*- AJ, FMW, NJ - Matches from 1991 219*- AJ, Misc, NJ, - Matches from 03/90 UWA - Dominic DeNucci & Luis Martinez vs. Ken "Kabuki" Jugan & Malcolm Monroe from Toledo, Ohio, 1981 - Jack Brisco vs. Jerry Lawler from Memphis, early 70s 220*- AJ, NWA - AJ: Matches from 04/91 - AJ: R'N'R Express vs. Bulldogs from 02/12/89 - Steiners vs. Midnight Express from Asbury Park, 10/20/90 221*- FMW, Misc, SWS - SWS: Matches from 06/91 - FMW: Atsushi Onita vs. Mr. Pogo from 05/91 - R'N'R Express vs. Fantastics from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, 04/01/89 222*- Misc, NJ - Dory Funk Jr. vs. Horst Hoffman from 12/15/75 - NJ: Matches from 1991 437*- NWA - Clash of Champions VI, 04/02/89 Gary Will, the Fluffster and I got through a bit of them and what we saw was alright.
