Of course, rumours still have him heading to WCW. - Bret Hart's contract with the WWF apparently runs out in October. Vince will have to work out a new contract deal with Hart and, if it doesn't fly, Hart could be leaving the company too. - Lots of talk about talent leaving and arriving in the WWF and WCW. There's DiBiase and Hart as mentioned above. WCW has also signed Chris Benoit and Shane Douglas to come in shortly. There's talk about the Warlord coming in shortly. The Iron Sheik was also begging for a job with WCW recently. Super Invader (Hercules Hernandez) was let go. Terry Taylor was let go a little while ago and, after failing to get a job with the WWF (why would he want to return?!), he's signed on for the October New Japan tour. There's talk of the Steiners grumbling about their situation and about jumping to the WWF at year-end when their contract is up. They each get $300000 or so a year, and Watts is apparently offering them a new deal of $1000 a match. Cactus Jack has renewed his contract until the end of the year. And, of course, Bobby Eaton and Arn Anderson are history at the end of the year. Big Van Vader is going to come in full time when New Japan cuts him loose. Samoans Samu, Fatu and Kokina are all coming into the WWF. Samu & Fatu will work as a tag team and Kokina will work singles. Bam Bam Bigelow is also coming in in the new year when New Japan drops him. Portland's Ron & Don Harris are also due to come in to the WWF soon. - Owen Hart will be out of action for a while with a knee injury. - Hulk Hogan is expected to sign his much talked about deal with New Japan shortly. He's apparently agreeing to do between two to six shots at $100000 apiece, depending on who listen to. New Japan is already talking about Hogan working the Tokyo Dome show on 01/04/92 against either Antonio Inoki or Scott Norton. - WCW has it's annual Halloween Havoc PPV on October 25, 1992. Tentative line-up includes: - Jake Roberts vs. Sting in a "Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal" match, where Sting will apparently spin a gimmicked wheel to determine which type of match takes place. Matches on the wheel in the "Spin The Wheel Saloon" sketch were (in alphabetical order): - Barbed Wire - Cage - Coal Miner's Glove - Dog Collar Match - First Blood - I Quit - Lumberjack Match - Prince of Darkness - Russian Chain Match - Spinner Choice - Texas Bull Rope - Texas Death Match - Rick Rude vs. Masa Chono for the NWA Heavyweight Title - Just to clarify something, last week in my post I offered to *trade* videos with anybody with anything interesting, I didn't offer to *sell* videos to anybody.
