 { Not much to say this week, just some WrestleMania fall-out.
   Still pretty busy with my thesis.  Herb...                 }

 - At WrestleMania VIII on Sunday, Randy Savage won the WWF from Ric
   Flair, with the help of Ric's tights.  We can expect Jack Tunney
   to show up on the syndies this weekend to tell us once again that
   the referee's decision is final, and although the videotape shows
   some cheating on Savage's part, he can't overturn the ruling.
   He can, however, declare Ric Flair the top contender for the
   title, and, so, watch for a Ric Flair vs. Randy Savage match
   near you.
     I guess that the WWF lurker relayed to Vince the fact that I had
   deduced Vince's original plan of using twin Elizabeths (one being
   Liz, and the other being Pat Patterson dressed like Liz), and Vince
   had to opt for Plan B.

 - It looks like the summer programs in the WWF will be Ric Flair vs.
   Randy Savage, Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels, LOD (& Natural Disasters)
   vs. Money, Inc. (& Nasty Boys).  Possibility of UW vs. Papa Shango,
   and Undertaker vs. Sid, or the reverse pairing.

 - Lots of confusion over the future of Hulk Hogan.  There is talk that
   his popularity among average fans has not been effected by the
   negative press towards him and the WWF, so we can expect his
   return to the ring once he finishes his summer movie.  There is
   talk of him beating Ric Flair (or Sid Justice) for the WWF title
   at SummerSlam, and losing it to Lex Luger at WrestleMania IX.
   Reports of Lex Luger being able to work in any wrestling capacity
   (including wrestler, commentator, or referee) have not reached
   here - as far as I know he is not allowed to work in any of these
   roles until March, 1993.
     There is also some talk of Hulk Hogan accepting the contract offer
   from New Japan to work 6 shots with them, perhaps even including the
   New Japan & WCW joint show from Tokyo Dome in January.
     It seems we'll have to wait for Vince and Hulk to make a decision.

 - Videotape: We'll be selecting matches for the tape in the next few
   days.  Maybe I'll have partial details on the tape next week.
