In the main event on the FOX broadcast, Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice went against The Undertaker & Ric Flair. Brutus Beefcake made an appearance, accompanying the faces to the ring. Justice walked out on Hogan, who got pummelled by UT and Flair. Beefcake came in for the save, but Hogan had chased off the heels. Justice would later appear on a "Barber Shop" segment and announce that his new manager is Harvey Whippleman. I guess they want to ensure that the marks know he's a heel now. Also on the show, Randy Savage pinned Jake Roberts, LOD beat the Beverly Brothers, and Roddy Piper beat the Mountie , who tried to shock Piper with his zapper after dumping water on him, but it had no effect since Piper was wearing a wetsuit. The interesting fall-out from this show will change WrestleMania's headline match. Hulk Hogan will decline the chance to wrestle Flair for the World Title and Flair will instead wrestle Randy Savage. Hogan will face Justice at WM. Also on the show, Elizabeth stayed at ringside for Savage's match with Jake, and was on the verge of being assaulted by Jake when the Undertaker came in to make the save, beginning his face turn. Looks like this should set up a grudge between UT and Jake and perhaps a match at WrestleMania. This change in scenario may have something to do with the expected increase in heat near WM over the steroid problem in wrestling. Then again, Vince may just not want to run the summer without a World champion and Hulkster is definitely taking the summer off. - The tentative line-up for WCW's SuperBrawl PPV on February 29th has: - Sting winning the world title from Lex Luger - Ricky Steamboat vs. Rick Rude for the US Title - Steiners vs. Bobby Eaton & Arn Anderson for the Tag Titles - Jushin Riger vs. Brian Pillman for the Lightheavyweight Title - Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham vs. Larry Zbyszko & Steve Austin - Ron Simmons vs. Cactus Jack - Terry Taylor vs. Marcus Alexander Bagwell - P.N.News vs. Mr. Hughes - Young Pistols & Diamond Dallas Page & Vinnie Vegas vs. El Gigante & Big Josh & Mike Graham & Johnny B. Badd - Tom Zenk vs. Richard Morton The top five matches, at least, are certain. Kip Frey has instituted a pay bonus plan to give the guys incentive to work hard for the big shows. At every PPV and Clash, the guys who work the hardest will split $5000. I guess Riger & Pillman will make some money this time. Riger will be in for 4 more tours this year. - There's a rumour here that three WWF wrestlers will get suspensions beginning this coming week for failing the last WWF steroid test. No word on who, but I bet they aren't Sid Justice, Hawk & Animal. Then again, there is talk that the LOD want to jump ship and return to WCW. - Shawn Michaels & Ted DiBiase will be forming a tag team managed by Sherri Martel. - Dr. George Zahorian started serving his three year term in minimum security prison on Tuesday. - El Gigante may get signed to be the super-villain in some future James Bond movies. Imagine James Bond stealing a jetpack harness from some evil mastermind, who then hires Gigante to get it back from Bond. The big confrontation occurs between Bond and Gigante and Gigante lets his most practices English line rip: "I want da belt!" ;-) Herb...
