- Steve DiSalvo suffered a heart attack on the weekend.

- Ron Garvin has been released from hospital and is recuperating
  from his car crash at his home.

- The WWF has added a PPV show to this year's schedule.  The show
  will be live from the Hemisfair Arena in San Antonio, Texas, and
  will air on December 6th, just days after the Survivor Series.
  The line-up for this three-hour PPV will not be revealed until
  after Survivor Series, but the price is already established at
  $12.95.  Popular rumours have either the Undertaker dethroning
  Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series and Sid Justice beating the Undertaker
  at the new PPV, or Survivor Series setting up a Ric Flair vs.
  Hulk Hogan math at the second PPV.

- Ric Flair's NWA Heavyweight Title will not be shown on any more WWF
  shows for a while at least.  While the ownership of the belt is
  hashed over in the courts, Flair can't use it.

- In response to a query on last week's TidBits, Cactus Jack's contract
  with WCW is definitely 1 year long, and possibly 2 years long.

- Signs of difficulty booking Sid Justice for any type of reasonable
  match are showing in the WWF.  A while back Sid beat Curt Hennig in
  4 seconds, but Curt had a bad back and couldn't really work a match.
  On this past weekend, Sid beat Big Bully Busick in 26 seconds and
  Ted DiBiase in 34 seconds.  Wow!  He worked a whole minute on the
  weekend.

- Bret Hart's feud with the Warlord is history.  Bret begins a program
  with the Mountie now.

- WCW's Halloween Havoc takes place on October 27th with the
   following line-up:
     - Lex Luger vs. Ron Simmons for the WCW Title in a 2 out of 3
       falls match
     - Brian Pillman vs. Ricky Morton to crown the first WCW
       Lightheavyweight champion
     - The Enforcers vs. The Patriots for the WCW Tag Titles
     - Steve Austin vs. Dustin Rhodes for the WCW TV Title
     - P.N. News & Big Josh vs. The Creatures
     - Cactus Jack Manson vs. Bill Kazmaier
     - Bobby Eaton vs. Terry Taylor
     - Johnny B. Badd vs. Jimmy Garvin
     - Van Hammer vs. Michael Hayes
     - Tom Zenk vs. The Phantom
     - Chamber of Horrors match:
        El Gigante, Sting, Rick & Scott Steiner vs.
         Abdullah The Butcher, Diamond Studd, Oz, & Barry Windham
   The rules for the Chamber of Horrors match are:
     1. Two teams of four men; total of eight men in the Chamber of
        Horrors.
     2. Instruments of torture can be used to prevent opponents from
        leaving the ring.
     3. To win, a team must escape and prevent other team from excaping
        before the time limit expires.
     4. When the time limit expires, any remaining individuals will have
        to face the consequences of the Chamber of Horrors.
   Havoc will be card #7 in Booking Prediction Tourney.
     Rumour has the mysterious Creatures being the awesome combination of
   Johnny Rich and Jumping Joey Maggs.

 - The WWF Survivor Series takes place on November 27 from Joe Louis
   Arena.  The matches are:
      - Hulk Hogan vs Undertaker for the WWF Title
      - Sid Justice, Big Boss Man, Legion of Doom vs.
          Jake Roberts, IRS, Earthquake & Typhoon
      - Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Virgil & British Bulldog vs.
          Ric Flair, Ted DiBiase, Warlord, and Mountie
      - Jim Duggan, Jim Neidhart, Rick Steamboat, & Kerry von Erich vs.
          Berzerker, Skinner Steve Keirn, Big Bully Busich, and Mustafa
      - The Rockers & The Sheepwhackers vs.
          Nasty Boys & Beverly Brothers

  - Finally, I hope that everybody takes the time to participate in the
    Year-End Achievement Awards voting.  The first call for votes was
    posted yesterday and the contest runs until November 8th.
