Thanks, Herb... } - Tom Zenk was arrested for battery and possession of marijuana and steroids. Zenk got out on $36000 bail - afterall, steroid possession is a felony. - The WWF card at Madison Square Garden on Saturday had the following results: - Ric Flair DDQ with Roddy Piper - Sid Justice def. The Undertaker (powerbomb, pinfall, bodybagging) - Hulk Hogan def. Warlord, retaining the WWF Title - Big Boss Man def. IRS - The Rockers def. The Nasty Boys - Bret Hart def. The Berzerker, retaining the IC Title The next MSG card features Hulk Hogan, Sid Justice, Randy Savage, & Big Boss Man vs. Ric Flair, Undertaker, Jake Roberts, & IRS. - WCW's Halloween Havoc takes place on October 27th with the following line-up: - Lex Luger vs. Ron Simmons for the WCW Title in a 2 out of 3 falls match - Brian Pillman vs. Ricky Morton to crown the first WCW Lightheavyweight champion - The Enforcers vs. The Patriots for the WCW Tag Titles - Steve Austin vs. Dustin Rhodes for the WCW TV Title - P.N. News & Big Josh vs. The Creatures - Cactus Jack Manson vs. Bill Kazmaier - Bobby Eaton vs. Terry Taylor - Johnny B. Badd vs. Jimmy Garvin - Van Hammer vs. Michael Hayes - Tom Zenk vs. The Phantom - Chambers of Horrors match: El Gigante, Sting, Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Abdullah The Butcher, Diamond Studd, Oz, & Barry Windham Really, none of the question from last week were answered in the past week. On this past weekend's Halloween Havoc updates Gordon Solie mentioned a partial line-up. Include was the Chambers of Horrors match. The rules for this match were printed on the screen - sorry, but I forgot to transcribe them for this posting. In any case, the team members left in the ring at the end of the match must "face the consequences of the Chambers of Horrors." I think this means that they have to job for Van Hammer, P.N.News, and Dustin Rhodes. Either that or face Dusty in his return match. Gordon also made a point of questioning Barry Windham's placement in the match. It seems that they are trying to sell the show on mystery. Of course, this assumes that they even know what they are doing. - The WWF Survivor Series takes place on November 27 from Joe Louis Arena. The matches are: - Hulk Hogan vs Undertaker for the WWF Title - Sid Justice, Big Boss Man, Legion of Doom vs. Jake Roberts, IRS, Earthquake & Typhoon - Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Virgil & British Bulldog vs. Ric Flair, Ted DiBiase, Warlord, and Mountie - Jim Duggan, Jim Neidhart, Rick Steamboat, & Kerry von Erich vs. Berzerker, Skinner Steve Keirn, Big Bully Busich, and Mustafa - The Rockers & The Sheepwhackers vs. Nasty Boys & Beverly Brothers No word on whether the Nasty Boys have reached an agreement with Vince or not. As such, their appearance may be questionable. Shawn Michaels will be at the show, despite his bum knee. - The rumours are very strong and come from different people - perhaps with the same source; who knows? - but the agreement in stories is astounding enough to guarantee that something major will happen at the Survivor Series. What? Well, the rumours have it that Hulk Hogan will drop the WWF Title to The Undertaker at the show, with the main reason for his loss being Ric Flair. It may be a pre-match attack by Flair, or mid-match interference, or something else, but the signs are strong that this will happen. What happens next? One line of rumours has the Undertaker losing the title to Sid Justice not too long after winning it. Then Ric Flair will cheat the title away from Justice and set up a match at WrestleMania: Hulk Hogan (challenger) vs. Ric Flair (WWF & NWA - and therefore, undisputed (tm) - World Heavyweight Champion). This would give Ric the chance to achieve the superstardom he must have been promised by Vince just to sign with the WWF - Ric would in effect unify the WWF & NWA Titles, okay, okay...the WWF & "Real World" Titles. But, at WrestleMania, Hulk Hogan - the challenger! - would pin Ric Flair clean in their first (and last?) PPV encounter. So Vince would never have to give Ric a title win over Hogan on any major show, thus solidifying Hulk's superiority for the mark audience. - The Rockers have given Vince their notice. They won't be negotiating a new contract when the current one expires (end of November, I believe). I guess this means that the Rockers will do quick and decisive jobs at Survivor Series. No word on where they are going, but could you imagine a Rockers vs. Steiners match! - Madusa Micelli is almost definitely returning to North America anyhow. Rumours are jumping back and forth that she will either work with Ric Flair in the WWF, or end up being "The Boss" in the GWF. - So, the Ultimate Warrior gets suspended for 90 days and Vince needs someone to take over Warrior's program with Jake Roberts which was just ready to begin. So, Vince does a very quickly scripted angle at Randy Savage & Elizabeth's reception, setting up Savage vs. Jake Roberts. But, Savage doesn't want to return to the ring full time, at least not to feud with Roberts. So, Savage gives Vince his notice, saying he wants to stay on as a commentator only. So, Vince scripts another quick story-line explaining why Savage isn't feuding with Roberts at the houses and why we're getting Sid Justice vs. Roberts instead. To try and straighten things out, there is talk that Vince may talk the Ultimate Warrior into returning to the WWF and then do the Roberts vs. Ultimate Warrior program that was originally planned. Other rumours persist that UW is being courted by WCW as well, so his future is a little uncertain. Meanwhile, there are rumours afoot that WCW is talking to Randy Savage. Would Savage jump if he was offered large $$$ a year plus the WCW Title and an extended title reign? - Cactus Jack has signed a contract with WCW. Herb...
