The Midnight Express' last match together will take place tomorrow night in Philly when they work against Terry Funk & Cactus Jack. - The NWA is looking to bring in legitimate Soviet wrestlers in the very near future, probably for the Starrcade tag team tournament I mentioned before. - Antonio Inoki, who along with a Japanese delegation convinced Iraq to release it's Japanese prisoners, is planning to put on a top-flight show in Baghdad at the end of the month. - Jimmy Snuka is going to start feuding with the Warlord. - It looks like they're experimenting with Ted DiBiase in the WWF. At a recent Greensboro card, he was pinned by Dusty Rhodes and then took out his frustations on Virgil, who ended up choking the Million Dollar Man with his towel. - It looks like the Saturday Night's Main Event on November 24 will have the Rockers winning the belts from the Hart Foundation and Ted DiBiase vs. the Ultimate Warrior (maybe they'll air an altercation with Virgil). - It looks like the NWA may start producing a special program for it's Canadian viewers. Who knows, maybe we'll even get special programs & angles. - I had the privilege of catching a fair bit of (year-old) Japanese wrestling over the past week. My roommates were amazed by Jushin Riger in particular and all of the women, especially Nagoya Chigusa. I must say it's going to be difficult to sit down and watch the american products this weekend. - Finally, please take note of my other posting today announcing the "official" categories for the Usenet Year-End Pro-Wrestling Achievement Awards. I received many notes saying that my proposed list of awards was great, do I've left it alone, but for one addition: "Best Jobber". I want to encourage everyone to send me their votes, so that this survey is worthwhile. Thanks. Herb...
