I guess having 2 featured articles on NFL opening day prevented him from concentrating on the REAL sport of kings, rasslin'! * He reported on Nitro debuting tommorrow night, and how in addition to a suppossedly kick-ass Septemeber line-up for Nitro, the WWF will be kicking RAW (and the new Thursday night RAW, at 10pm) into high gear with kick-ass matches. In general, Marvez is saying that in the battle between the WWF and WCW, the real winners will be the fans. * He reported, nearly word-for-word the same we heard, on the Vader/ Orndorff backstage brawl. Only difference is that Marvez honestly believes Vader's WCW future is in major jeopardy. [On a purely editorial note: doesn't this seem like the WCW big wigs are overreacting just a bit? Yes, Vader took a pot shot at a booker... but the booker proceeded to completely kick Vader's ass. If one is at fault, so is the other. MODO, of course. And I do kind of like Vader....] * Most interesting of all, Marvez laid out, step-by-step, the exact way the Flair/Anderson split-the-reunion will go. The Sting vs. Badd match coming up (when is this?) will be sabotaged by Pillman, who will prevent Badd from showing up. This sets up (at Havoc?) Sting and Flair vs. Pillman and Anderson. At some point, Flair turns on Sting, which results in Pillman, Anderson, and Flair becoming 3/4's of the Horsemen. Marvez says it is Orndorff who will likely be the fourth. [I'm not sure I get it.... I guess I'll have to wait and see if WCW can make this angle make more sens than Marvez does....] -- Rick Scaia | The Large-Hearted Boy | Hmmmmmm... ag725@freenet.carleton.ca | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
